My baby died today
That is why the sky is grey
I cannot describe the pain I am in
My baby died today
No cries of need, only cries pain
It seems as if all happiness has gone away

My baby girl died today
She is now made perfect
Her body is made whole
This does not take away the pain I am in
Because today is the day my baby girl died

ReplyDeleteI don't know if you remember me or not. We went to OCC together. My husband, Keith, and I found out last Thursday that our baby was no longer living. I was supposed to be 12 weeks along, but baby was only the size of an 8 week baby. No heartbeat. I had a D & C yesterday. My heart is breaking. I can't read all of your posts yet, just not ready. My heart can't take it. But this poem is beautiful. Thanks for sharing. I'll be back to read more.
